Workshop Dates: Saturday 8th September 2018
Join portrait and advertising photographer Cat Garcia for an inspiring portraiture workshop, which will focus on understanding available light, working in unfamiliar locations and photographing a subject you have not met before.
Commissioned to shoot portraits for various publications, Cat is regularly faced with the challenge of constructing a portrait in an unfamiliar location and within a short amount of time.
Practical exercises will force you to consider the choices made when capturing an environmental portrait in terms of composition, depth of field, light, interaction with the subject, body language and expression, and finally how all these elements impact the final image.
